A family that plays together, stays together

Note from mom:

For two years we had been saving to make this trip to the Big Island possible! Our family time in Hawaii over the years has been some of our favorite memories and it was time to make some more!  This would be the first time in two years that all nine of us would be together!

Hale O Pohaku is where we stayed. It was a great house for us, though far from many of the beaches so we spent a lot of time in the car.

And so Elder Ditto's mission blog comes to a close.  As much as I am so happy he is home, I will miss those weekly letters and phone calls. We're so thankful for the good example Tyler has been to our whole family.  Serving during COVID was no joke!!  Living in a hotel, learning a tough language and then barely getting to use it, contacting people through zoom and facebook messenger, getting COVID, limited interaction with members, a tease of going to Japan and then never making it, having two mission presidents....I could go on and on.  Elder Ditto has shown perseverance and a love for the Lord while he has shared the gospel these past two years.  I love Elder Ditto!
